Tricia Keating, the Director of the Rock River Raptors' Dynomite's dance team, brings a unique blend of experience and leadership to her role with Rockford's indoor football team.

 

Originally from Clearwater, Florida, Tricia has lived in Chicago for 15 years.  With a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from the University of South Florida, and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Northern Illinois University, Tricia works as a high school guidance counselor.

 

With over 15 years experience as a professional cheerleader, several more years as a Director of dance teams, and as a consultant to professional dance teams, Ms. Keating brings the knowledge and understanding necessary to revitalize the Dynomites in 2009.

 

Through a history of professional cheerleading for the Tampa Bay Storm (AFL arena football), the Chicago Rockers (CBA Basketball) and the Rockford Lightning (CBA Basketball), Kane County Eagles (NAFL Football) and the Chicago Slaughter (CIFL Football), Tricia will provide the Dynomites with the guidance and skills necessary to bring Raptor fans a creative, fun and entertaining experience at all home games.

 

In addition, Ms. Keating was the Creator/Director of the Slaughter Girls during the inaugural season of Chicago Slaughter football. Ms. Keating also served one year as the Director of the Lady Eagles for the 5-time national champion Kane County Eagles (NAFL football).

 

As the President and Founder of Pro Dancers Edge, Ms. Keating has worked with individual cheerleaders to make the jump to the next level of professional cheering/dancing with the NBA (Chicago Bulls Luvabulls), she has consulted with professional dance teams (Chicago Storm), she has advised numerous women as they prepared for dance team auditions with NFL, NBA, AFL, XSL and NHL sports teams, and she has also served as a judge during dance team auditions.

 

As a recognized leader in professional cheerleading and dancing, Ms. Keating has appeared on the WGN Morning News, she has appeared numerous times in the Chicago Sun-Times' Quick Hits column, and she has been featured several times on the Professional Cheerleaders Web site.

 

Currently, Tricia resides in Aurora, Illinois, with her two sons: Royce, age 12, and Jake, age 6.
